Your account. Your choices.

This notice covers free pre-registration at plotlord.eu. Public gameplay, paid purchases and rewarded advertising are not open during this phase.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Jens Gravgaard Grann, operating Plotlord under the project name JGG Ventures in Denmark while CVR registration is pending. Contact the operator through Plotlord Support for privacy questions or rights requests.

What we process and why

• Account and sign-in: the authentication provider's account identifier, verified email, available profile name and sign-in/session information. Google and Supabase handle authentication; Plotlord does not receive your Google password. We use necessary account data to provide the account you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• Starting Credits: account ID, one-time signup grant and ledger reference, so the same account receives its starting grant only once. Existing account history is retained when you return.
• Optional launch email: your recorded choice, consent wording/version and relevant timestamps. This uses your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); it is separate from creating an account and is not a general marketing subscription.
• Security: essential session, authentication, rate-limit and audit information to protect accounts and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)). Network providers also process connection information, including IP addresses.
• First-party service statistics: aggregate document views and country-level request counts, plus minimal visit/session and recent-activity records for signed-in accounts. These help us understand service use and operate the shared world, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not add an anonymous tracking identifier, fingerprint or analytics cookie. Anonymous unique visitors are not measured. The owner's dashboard shows aggregate statistics, not visitors' email addresses, IP addresses or OAuth identities.
• Support: the name, reply email, subject and message you submit, to answer your request. Do not send passwords, identity documents or payment-card information through the form.

Optional means optional

The launch-email checkbox starts unchecked. Declining it does not affect your account, starting Credits or ability to return. You can withdraw consent from the signed-in pre-registration page or ask support. Withdrawal stops future use for that purpose and does not invalidate processing before withdrawal. We will not send the launch announcement until the game opens.

Providers and storage

Cloudflare hosts the website and game database. Supabase provides authentication, with Google as a configured sign-in provider. Support messages are forwarded server-side through Brevo to our private support inbox. The receiving address is not included in frontend code. Our application stores only short-lived delivery and abuse-prevention metadata for the contact form, not the message body.

These providers operate internationally, and processing can involve locations outside the EEA. Their privacy and data-transfer information is available from Cloudflare, Supabase, Google and Brevo. The private support inbox uses the operator's existing email provider. We do not sell pre-registration information.

How long data is kept

Account data and its necessary ledger are kept while your account exists. You may request closure through support. If a limited record must remain for a legal obligation or a specific security dispute, its purpose and retention need are assessed separately. Optional launch-message eligibility ends when you withdraw; minimal consent evidence is kept only as necessary to demonstrate your choice. Contact-form technical records expire after at most 24 hours and are purged by the application's cleanup process. Support correspondence is kept while needed to resolve and follow up your request; contact support to request its deletion.

Optional in-game directions

When you choose Drive there or Go here, Plotlord sends the two positions on the game map to FOSSGIS/OpenStreetMap to calculate a road or walking route. We send no account identifier, name or login, and this feature does not request your device GPS location. The routing provider may keep coordinates in its server logs; see its routing/privacy information. Route results are cached briefly in memory. You control the game character; routes do not move it automatically. Clothing and colour choices are stored per account in your current browser.

Cookies, devices and location

Essential first-party cookies protect sign-in and sessions. The prelaunch page does not require advertising cookies, GPS access or installation. Local browser preferences may remember interface choices. Google and other providers process information when you use their sign-in pages under their own notices. Public pre-registration does not expose the private game's map or driving APIs.

Country statistics use an approximate country signal supplied by Cloudflare; Plotlord does not store precise location or IP addresses for analytics. Signed-in daily visit records are retained for up to 90 days before routine cleanup. An account's first visit and recent activity timestamps remain while the account exists; session references end with the corresponding sign-in session. Aggregate totals can remain without an account identifier. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests through the contact form.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object where processing relies on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on an account request. Contact Plotlord Support. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency or your local supervisory authority. Before public gameplay opens

This notice will be updated before introducing additional public gameplay, purchases, advertising or materially different data uses. No automated pre-registration decision grants real-world property rights, credit or financial eligibility.
